Tamiya 1/16 Full Option King Tiger Tank - Page 4

Pictured above I did add another tow cable to the side of the tank using two large metal thimbles (JPZ210) and Stainless steel 2.0 mm Tow Cable wire (ABE20).

The entire tank received a full weathering job using our weathering kits.  One thing that you will notice (Below) is that all groves on the tank are weathered with black soot. This helps with shadowing and distinguishes different parts of the tank better.

At a later point, I will be adding a MG 42 (JPZ010) to finish off this tank. Just not sure when that will happen but will show everyone once finished.

Pictured above is the On/Off switch for the tank. The switch is held in place with double side tape (TAM50171) made by Tamiya. This switch is located inside the turret underneath the right hatch. The double sided tape works very well and I have had no issues since I placed the switch there.

Another area you may consider placing your switch is behind the hatch on the backside of the turret. But you would have to make this hatch workable since it’s not in the kit.

Battle unit connector (Above) is located underneath the commander hatch. I personal recommend you installing this as your building your kit to make things easier for you. Pictured below is the actual battle unit on the tank.

I hope everyone liked what has been done to this tank and it inspires you to add the details you want to your tank. Remember, this is a hobby and there is no right or wrong way in painting, adding accessories or weather your tank in my opinion. JUST HAVE FUN!
