Taigen Metal Tiger I Kit Build - Page #11The next picture below shows the rear of the Tiger I tank weathered and almost finished. What’s nice about taking pictures of your tank is that you can see areas of your model that need either more weathering or just extra detail work that needs to be done. The next picture below shows a close-up picture of the tanks air filter weathered. Just used my light brown weathering color to highlight the edges and this color will also be used on the rest of the tanks edges. Highlighting the edges will make your tank standout and plus add extra detail as well. These are the edges (Below) that I was talking about earlier that will be highlighted with the light brown color shown below. I will also show an after picture of the same area so you get an idea of what i'm talking about. Below is an after picture of the highlighting I did on all the edges of the tank. The red color will be harder to see the highlighting done but you can always use a darker weathering color for those areas. I did use a blackish weathering color on some areas to break up the brown colors but just a little. There is a point in weathering that you can over do it, so take your time when doing this. A little bit can go a long way in achieving the look your going for.
